2010 Dignitaries
Volunteer of the Year
Tiffany Dawn (Emery) Duncan
Biography of their life. Some questions to consider:
Tiffany was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 5, 1985. Born
in Holy Cross Hospital, She was the first of Five
children for Clark and Tina Emery; followed by Brandt, Kaylee,
Emily, and last Natalie.
It didn't take long for everyone to notice
that Tiffany had taken the
same strong interests in animals that her mother had; and as
soon as she could walk, Tiffany was riding horses as much
as possible. Still, living in Salt Lake City; Tiffany took every
opportunity she could to come out to Vernal and visit her grand
parents and ride the horses
that they owned.
Finally at age ten, Clark and Tina made the decision to move to
Vernal to be closer to the
family. From there, the rest is history..... Riding horses almost
every day, Tiffany's love for
horses grew into a lifestyle that she still cherishes to this day.
In many horsemanship
competitions, Tiffany was highly decorated. 1st place, blue ribbons,
and royalty placement
became common place for Tiffany as she and her mother traveled
and participated in many
events. Clear through high school, Tiffany continued on her adventures
with her horse"
FAME" and enjoyed working at Wendy's, Pizza Hut, and IFA.
Being an avid Rodeo Volunteer, Tiffany was quickly making an example
for everyone.
Starting out helping with ticket sales, Tiffany has naturally become
a staple individual with
every Rodeo. From Parades to Grand Entry Events, there isn't anything
that Tiffany can't
organize and execute. With a contagious smile and a sparkling personality,
Tiffany is an
attractant for hapiness and fun! No Rodeo meeting, social, or night
is complete without her
there.
Tiffany's success cannot be complete without the support of her
family: Larry (husband), Coy
(5 years), Cody (2 years), and Maggie (born April 27, 2010). Together,
Tiffany and her
family have not only touched the lives of everyone on the Rodeo
committee, but they are a
shinning example for the community as well. Never afraid to help
a neighbor, Tiffany and
Larry have always made themselves available to anyone who needs
help. Day or night, you
can count on the Duncan Family to be there.
Clearly, Tiffany is an inspiration to anyone.
