Rodeo Queens

McKenzie MaughnMcKenzie Maughan— Rodeo Queen

McKenzie, age 17, is the daughter of Rod and Mindy Maughan of Hooper, Utah. She is a junior at Fremont High School, where she is on the Honor Roll. Her hobbies include rodeo, camping with family, and participating in Intermountain Reining Horse Association and National Reining Horse Association shows. Why McKenzie wants to be Miss Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Queen: "I would love to be the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Queen to promote the great sport of rodeo and especially be involved in a rodeo that is sanctioned by the PRCA. I feel like the sport of rodeo is such a family sport and this if I was made the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Queen, I would want to promote the rodeo by having the whole family come out and watch the greatest sport on dirt!"

 

 

 

Melissa BorenMelissa Boren — 1st Runner-up

Melissa, age 23, is the daughter of Lee Boren and Elaine Farnsworth and Teresa and Russel Shaw of Vernal, Utah. A graduate of Utah State University with her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, her hobbies include exercising, reading, eating, hanging out with family, riding horses, dancing, and her favorite sport is rodeo softball. Why Melissa wants to be Miss Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Queen: "I have always wanted to be the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Queen to represent the greatest sport in America and to make my family proud. To be the ambassador of the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo would be one of the greatest honors I could ever receive."

 

 

 

 

Tiffany NielsonTiffany Nielson — 2nd Runner-up

Tiffany, age 10, is the daughter of Doug Nielson and Marcia Oman of Myton, Utah. She is a sophomore at Tabiona High School and her hobbies include basketball, cheerleading track, dirt bike riding in the mountains, fishing, camping, and many more. She has held many Rodeo Queen titles. Why Tiffany wants to be Miss Dinosaur Roundup Queen: "I would like to be the next Miss Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Queen so I could help promote the one sport that has truly made its mark in history. By holding this title, it would allow me to more fully promote rodeo by continuing to give it the strong and respecter name it has created over the years."

 

 

 

 

 

Tiffany HaworthTiffany Haworth

Tiffany, age 17, is the daughter of Donald Haworth and Nikki and Byron Gibson of Neola, Utah. Attending Union High School, her hobbies include barrel racing, queening, showing horses, riding on the mountain, and hunting big game. Why Tiffany wants to be Miss Dinosaur Roundup Queen: "Because I would represent and be a good role model for the younger girls that would want to be a Rodeo queen someday. And I would want the community to get involved with our Rodeo."

Emma MatherEmma Mather — Jr. Rodeo Queen

Emma 10, daughter of Tommy and Kerry Mather of Roosevelt. Her hobbies include, Scrap booking, Cooking and being with friends. Favorite sports are basketball, Soft ball and Rodeo. Why Emma wants to be the Dinosaur Roundup Jr. Queen: "because I love being a Rodeo Queen and I think it would be an honor to represent the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kaelyn IversonKaelyn Mikell Iverson — 1st Runner-up

Kaelyn 10, daughter of Travis and Kerri Iverson of Tabiona Utah. Her hobbies include, riding her horse anytime, anywhere and any day. She also likes to ride four wheelers. She favorite sports are Volley Ball and Basket Ball! Why Kaelyn wants to be the Dinosaur Roundup Jr. Queen: "I would love the opportunity to be the Dinosaur Roundup Jr. Queen I love rodeo and would like to follow in my mom's footsteps who was the DRR queen in 1995. I would be grateful for the experience and be a great role model and set a good example for all those around me!

 

 

 

 

 

Jaden WoodsJadon Woods — 2nd Runner-up

Jadon 15, daughter of Brett and Donni Woods of Vernal Utah. Her hobbies include Riding Horses, Showing Stock show Steers, Playing Basketball, Running Track, High School Rodeo and FFA. Why Jadon wants to be the Dinosaur Round up Jr. Queen: "I want to be able to represent the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo as their first Jr. Rodeo Queen. I also want to set a great example for future Rodeo Queens.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kimberly BlackKimberly Black

Kimberly 10, daughter of Martin and Donetle Black of Neola, Her hobbies include to spend time with her family and friends and horse, her favorite sport is competing in horse shows. Why Kimberly wants to be Miss Dinosaur Roundup Jr. Queen: "I want to be the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Queen so I can support the Dinosaur Roundup and be an example to those around me. Besides that I love rodeo and doing grand entries!
